Rep. Jean Preston

Jean Rouse Preston is the Joint Republican Caucus Leader of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's second district, including constituents in Carteret county. She serves as co-chair of the Education/Higher Education and the Appropriations Education/Higher Education Committees.[1] A retired educator from Emerald Isle, North Carolina, Preston has served seven terms in the state house and is in her third term in the State Senate.
